The author of Better Nigeria For Better People and presidential runner, Chief CBN Onwuasoanya Ezendigbo has urged the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari not to draw the curtain of his governance, while leaving behind loose politicians to continue abusing the coffers of the country.
Speaking in a statement released on Tuesday,”Politicians are covering up corruptions, We can not be giving our soldiers, police officers bump rides they are mortal beings, they’re there to cover our nation and without adequate supports, there’s no way to succeeded.
He disclosed that the problems facing Nigeria started about four decades ago. they are looting and no one is asking them question, Buhari must n’t leave while corrupt politicians still moves freely without holding them responsible, said Ezendigbo.
Our currency started sinking around 1982, some people are responsible for it, we can not be proud of our nation any longer when some of our leaders who have rendered what should be described as selfless but selfish services are in detention, it’s a disgrace to the nation.
Why are we conducting election without prosecuting those responsible for our problem, manufactories are down, youthful people are out of jobs, they must go back to work, there must be employment, they need to be happy again, they mustn’t be reduced to zero in their country.
Apart from our natural coffers, we’ve manpower, we have intellectualists, when you hear that former this, former that is endorsing one candidate without they reimbursing fund they’ve pillaged, are they endorsing candidate to continue looting from where they stop, what is the rational?
Meanwhile, Ezendigbo had suggested slightly a month ago, that conducting election without addressing the crucial issues is as sitting on cask of gun greasepaint.
The Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) has advised that this time’s general election faces a serious trouble of cancellation if the ruining instability isn’t duly dived . Oozing that if the insecurity isn’t monitored and dealt with decisively, it could eventually crown in the cancellation and/ or holdback of election in sufficient constituencies to hamper declaration of elections results and precipitate constitutional crises.
