The former Governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola, on Thursday, inaugurated the Osun All Progressives Congress( APC) Tinubu/ Shettima Presidential Campaign Council( PCC) in Osogbo.
Inaugurating members of the council, Oyetola said no gravestone would be left unturned in icing the palm of the APC presidential and vice-presidential campaigners, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, in the forthcoming general elections.
The former governor, who’s the State fellow of the PCC, instructed members to also work at icing palm for all APC state campaigners fighting for national and state assembly positions.
“ The country is in dire need of a competent existent like Tinubu to make on the earnings of the peremptory administration and drive the nation’s eventuality for socioeconomic growth and development of the country.
“ There’s no room for an trial on the election of the coming president at this critical time in the history of Nigeria, hence the need to handpick Tinubu whose political birth, good, responsible and responsive governance antecedents are alternate to none, ” he said.
Oyetola described the Tinubu/ Shettima candidature as godly, adding it was good of note that “ the team is powered by tested and trusted hands as it offers a renewed stopgap for all ”.

The former governor confided them for continually remaining bent , especially after the July 16, 2022 gubernatorial election in the state.

On his part, Mr Timothy Owoeye, Speaker of Osun House of Assembly, expressed confidence that Oyetola would be victorious at the election petitions tribunal and returned as Osun governor.
He said that he was also confident that Tinubu would be elected president.
Owoeye described the outgrowth of the July 16, 2022, Osun governorship as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission as a temporary reversal.
He said God would return Oyetola to govern the state for a alternate term before July this time.
