Hardship: 15 hoodlums arrested for ‘looting’ warehouse in Abuja, items recovered


No fewer than 15 suspects have been arrested in connection with the looting of a warehouse in the Federal Capital Territory, FCTAbuja.

In a statement issued by Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh said operatives of the command arrested some of the hoodlums and recovered stolen items.

According to her, items such as twenty-six bags of Maiz, five Motorcycles, and some vandalized aluminum roofings were recovered from the suspects.

“The Command wishes to state that normalcy has since been restored to the environment and the situation is very much under control, as fifteen (15) suspects were arrested, including two local security guards employed by the warehouse management”, the statement added.
