Osun Amotekun warns criminals, says, we are coming after you ...as operatives were applauded for their dedication and commitment in the past year


The Osun Amotekun, Corps Commander Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi has warned criminals that Amotekun is coming after them.


He asserted while speaking to the newsmen on Monday in Osogbo, the state capital


Adewinmbi said the Amotekun Corps remains very focused and intent on achieving its targets for reducing criminal activities in Osun State.


Adewinmbi said, "We will sustain our efforts to preserve and build on the successes we have achieved in the past year. Our various units will continue to conduct strategic intelligence-led exercises this year.


"We will maintain the intensify of our operations to protect the residents of the state and to give all citizens the confidence and assurance that we are working to ensure their safety and security."


Adewinmbi used the opportunity to appreciate the operatives of the corps for their dedication and commitment in the past year which helped the corps to achieve greatly in the past year, he urged the corps members not to relent in making osun a crime-free state.


He assured the residents of Osun of maximum security of living and property in all the nook and crannies of the state, he also urged the residents of the state to be vigilant in their environment and they should not hesitate to contact Amotekun Corps or other security agency if there is any strange movement in their environment.
