Asiwaju of Osogbo, Badmus Meet with Hausa On the Unveiling of Oke-Arugbo Market ...As Traditionalists, Muslims, and Christians Pray for the development of the Market

On the directive of the Ataoja of Osogbo His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II) for the progress and development of the market in Osogbo, the Asiwaju of Osogboland, Alhaji Chief Ajadi Badmus on Sunday met with Hausa in Osogbo to discuss the way forward on the unveiling of Oke-Arugbo market in Osogbo.

Badmus applauded the Hausa for their commitment and dedication to doing business in Osogbo, he tasked them not to relent in contributing their quota to the development of Osogbo, Osun State, and Nigeria at large.

He advised them to make use of the market very well and that they should avoid violence when settling down in the market to do their business and they should inform the Community leader or Market chief of anything that can cause turmoil in the market and it will be resolved.

He also said the market will benefit the town, Community, and the local government as the local government will be getting revenue from the market.

He promised the Hausa and those who would be doing business in the market that they would not regret doing business in the market, and he prayed to God to boost their business as they began their business in the market.

In his response, the leader of the Hausa, Imam Bashir commended the Asiwaju of Osogbo for being a good leader to emulate, he described him as a community leader who always promotes peace and unity.

He appreciates the Ataoja of Osogbo HRM Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji (Larooye II), Asiwaju of Osogbo, Alhaji Chief Ajadi Badmus, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe and the Baale of Oke-Arugbo, Chief Ishola Salawudeen Olanrewaju, for remember the Hausa to start doing their business in the market, he described it as welcome development and a rear opportunity that they appreciate a lot.

He promised that Hausa would be doing business in the market and they we do it with the fear of the Almighty Allah.

Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe called on the market men and women in Osogbo and its environs to patronize the market, as he tasks the Hausa that will be doing business in the market not to segregate and hike the price of their goods.

The Baale of Oke-Arugbo Community, Chief Ishola Salawudeen Olarewaju appreciates the Ataoja of Osogbo HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II), the Asiwaju of Osogboland Chief Ajadi Badmus, Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, Chairman of Osogbo West, Hon. Mojeed Obafemi Saka and Imam Bashir for their contributions and support towards the unveiling of the market which has been abandoned for years.

In the same vain, the traditional worshippers on Monday held a prayer for the development and progress, the prayer which was led by Obarisa of Osun State, and on Tuesday the Muslims held prayers for the development and progress of the market the prayer which was led by Imam Bashir while the Christians prayers will hold on Thursday to put the market in hands of God Almighty.
