Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Adewinmbi Receives "Who is Who in Africa" Award


The Osun Amotekun Commander, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi (retired) has been decorated with the award of Who is Who of Africa.


Receiving the award from the Time Africa Magazine on Friday in Osogbo, the very elated Brig.-Gen Adewinmbi said the award was a new challenge for him personally.


He added that with the award Osun Amotekun under his watch has received a strong boost in continually doing more by ensuring that the lives and properties of the people of Osun are saved.


He also restated its commitment to ending insecurity across the local governments in the state.


Presenting the award to Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi on behalf of Time Africa Magazine, Editor -in-Chief, Mr. Okorie Chidi Peters, at the corps headquarters, in Osogbo, Ifeanyi Collins explained that Brig.-Gen Adewinmbi’s tracked bravery and philanthropic records earned him the award.


Collins enjoined Brig.-Gen Adewinmbi not to relent in what he was recognized for by the management of Time Africa Magazine.
