The Lagos State Police Command has set up a 13-member special investigation team to investigate the mysterious death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

``Remember, we have unique access to Interpol. Anyone involved in this (Mr Mohhbad's death) will be identified and paraded to ascertain the level of involvement. ”Idowu Olowunwa, the Lagos State Commissioner, said on Monday.

We reported last Tuesday that Mohabado is a former signee of Marian Records owned by Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley. He died at the age of 27.

Naira Marley paid tribute to Mohbad, calling him "more than an artist or a signer, he was a brother and a dear friend."He stated this through his Instagram handle last Friday night in a statement personally signed on behalf of Marian Records Label.

"It was clear from the beginning that Mohbad was a force to be reckoned with. His music has brought love and light to many. Mohbad is known for his heartfelt lyrics, storytelling, infectious smile and energy. It impressed us all. "The news of his death has left a permanent hole in our hearts," the statement read in part.

In another post on his Instagram account, he posted a video of the late singer with the following caption: Rest in complete peace, my Brosky 💡 🕊. I am devastated 💔💔#Imole`sWorld💡. I have you forever, brother”
