APC UK Holds Summer General Meeting ...task members on Unity

The All Progressive Congress United Kingdom Chapter under the leadership of Hon. Tunde Doherty on Saturday 12th of August, 2023 held its summer General meeting.

The meeting was well attended by crum da-la - crum in the APC UK chapter, where the report of the All Progressive Congress UK Chapter programs during the 2023 election took them across the UK and back to Nigeria to participate in the voting and later on the inauguration ceremony of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was delivered by DG of the APC UK 2023 campaign council Hon. Muyiwa Adesua and the financial records of the organization in the last one year was presented by the Financial Secretary Hon. Yemi Kolawole.

In his welcome address, the APC UK Chairman, Hon. Tunde Doherty took to the stage and emphasized unity as their strength. 

The chairman also called all leaders present out and introduced them to members, he said they are responsible for the membership participation in being part of the renewed hope agenda of the party in the diaspora and Nigeria.

The summer meeting lived up to its earlier billing as publicized that it was about togetherness, the party's ideology, and opportunities for active engagement in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

The arrival of a part of the Ade Omole group led by Hon. Akin Badeji, DG for Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju, and Hon. Ifeoma Iyabode Nwankwo the Secretary of the now defunct APC PCC Diaspora Directorate boosted the event.

Those in attendance are, Hon. Ifeoma Iyabode Nwankwo, the Secretary of the defunct APC PCC Diaspora Directorate, Dr. Akin Badeji DG Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju(NDA), Pastor Patrick Obuseh (Chairman Bedfordshire), Hon. Orimaye, Pastor Agboola, Engineer Don Anyiam, Elder Olukoga, Hon. Muyiwa Adesua, Hon. Gbenle (Oyo Chairman), Hon. AJ Idowu (Ekiti Chairman), Hon. Dare Adeyeye (Ondo Chairman), Hon. Emeka (South East Chairman), Dr. Carl Amayo (Chairman South South) amongst many dignitaries.
